OOPS: Real Madrid Player Drops Trophy Under Team's Bus

If he'd been using his feet instead of his hands, maybe this wouldn't have happened:

Sergio Ramos, one of the best players on one of Spain's best soccer teams, dropped the trophy from the top of an open-air bus Wednesday night as he and his Real Madrid teammates were celebrating their Copa del Rey (King's Cup) victory over arch-rival Barcelona.

Even though the 33-pound cup got caught under one of the front wheels, ESPNsoccernet reports that Ramos said afterward that it "is in good shape."

The Associated Press, however, writes that "the front right wheel of the bus rolled over the trophy before the driver stopped. Emergency service members gathered up the broken pieces and returned them to the bus." Later, Real Madrid spokeswoman Marta Santisteban told the AP that the trophy "is not in good shape, exactly. ... It has to be fixed."

SkyNews is among the news outlets that caught the slip on camera.
