Whitney Port Serves ?The Best Stuff On Earth? in the Hot Big Apple

Friday did not only mark another brutally hot day in NYC, but also Snapple?s National Ice Tea Day. The only thing that made a chilled bottle of Snapple look appealing was the stunning Whitney Port serving the delicious product. Whitney teamed up with Snapple today to celebrate America?s favorite drink. ?The whole idea is to celebrate the best in life, and by that we are celebrating the best ice tea,? Whitney tells OK!.

The Snapple team, with Whitney?s help gave out free lunches and Snapple beverages at the Schnitzel & Things Food Truck in Midtown. Whitney looked stylishly fabulous despite the daunting heat, with her favorite flavored Snapple near by. ?Diet peach coincidentally is here today; I love it, it?s so good, so good,? Whitney said.

We got the chance to catch up with Whitney about her life back in L.A. and what she misses about NYC, and her memories here.

?I am a total cheesy love to my best friend, I miss her a lot. I also miss just being able to walk around and wonder. I love that you could walk outside your door and not have anything to do but find a million things to do and see,? Whitney explained.

Whitney also shared how she misses the social aspect of NYC, and the people and aspirations that come along with the city. ?You meet so many different people from so many different places, where in L.A. everyone is in the entertainment industry, so it?s cool to be here where people are involved in so many different things,? Whitney said.

Having completed her series The City on MTV and away from the reality spotlight, we had to ask Whitney her opinion on Audrina Patridge?s new show.

?I watch her show. Her family is so nice, obviously a little crazy, but so entertaining for sure,? Whitney said, laughing.

And the idea of returning to television is not a definite no for the fashion mogul.

?Not sure if I would ever go back to reality TV. Maybe something with fashion, but not necessarily something so close to home and personal, with all the intimate details of my life,? Whitney said.

Who better to ask than the designer trendsetter herself about summer trends and this season must-haves. With no hesitation Whitney saidneon colors! ?I would say bright prints, Neon, I am really into neon right now,? Whitney said.

As far as Whitney?s fall 2011 collection for WhitneyEve, the designer has gathered personal inspiration during a trip to Liberia, through the charity Face Africa, which she works closely with. Whitney explained that she took what she saw and brought it here.

?I was inspired by the prints and colors. I translated everything in my own way by taking three custom tribal prints and creating wearable things universally for every girl,? Whitney said.

With her book flying off the shelves, True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty, and Fun, Whitney shared what fans typically ask her. The usual line that wraps blocks on ends for the star, is normally filled with young girls desperately hoping to get advice on how to make it in the fashion industry. Whitney has become the real-life Carrie Bradshaw, turning every girl?s dream into a reality.

?A lot of people are from smaller towns, and they don?t know exactly what to do because there isn?t a fashion industry in every city, so I tell them to intern wherever. Whether it?s a magazine, newspaper, or retail store, just get out of their city for a summer and go to NY or L.A. and learn,? Whitney suggested.

When asked what is next for herself and what fans could expect, Whitney shared a slight sigh and smile. ?I?m really just focused on my clothing line right now, this is the first time I can devote everyday to my line so I am really excited to develop that,? Whitney said.
